First I would like to say I love my scarf and pillowcases. After doing my research on Mulberry silk and its benefits I now understand the price point. Second I would like to thank the Owner of this amazing brand for enlightening about toxic textiles (fabrics) we use in our life daily. I discovered this brand through a post Fey Katembo who happens to be the owner made in a Sisterlocs groups. I’m a breast cancer warrior and I had just been declared cancer free from remission when I came across their post in 2021. I was one of so many women that had what I would describe as an “ignorant response” to claims made in the post. I even wrote a whole paragraph going against her claims because my Oncologist had never mentioned anything about Polyester satin being toxic , all the nurses even recommended satin caps, bonnets , scarves.. In April 2023, I was again diagnosed with breast cancer the second time. My first diagnosis changed my life, I was already a very healthy person so my family was in shock when I was diagnosed with breast cancer but i made a lot of changes and even started eating Only organic food, made my own juices, used herbs from around the world. When i got diagnosed the second time in 2023, I pulled out all my clothes. about 90% of my Closet was all full of synthetic fabrics and I remembered the post this young lady made in that group. I looked for the post and I couldn’t find it so I believe it might have been removed. I know this is a review page but if you happen to read this, PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. When you have doubt about information that’s being divulged to you, don’t dwell in ignorance and try to belittle please do your deep research and I’m not talking about google. Look for Books, contact some doctors around the world. I’m still in shock to learn that Polyester satin is banned in many countries but yet Doctors in the united states are telling their cancer patients to use it. What’s the agenda behind this? Many oncologists I contacted around the world confirmed that polyester gives you cancer. I’m planing to go to Ireland for a deeper diagnosis because I believe my cancer is definitely from my clothes. The United States of America government owes us an explanation as citizens . Why are doctors advising us to use Carcinogen materials . Is it by ignorance or is this planned? Thanks to this brand we’re becoming enlightened about this toxic textile issue. i am forever grateful and please don’t let the negative comments discourage you becau you’re saving some of us .
