pH Electrode Storage & Maintenance Solution 50ml

A storage solution prepared with reagent grade chemicals that can be used to ensure optimum performance of your pH electrode. It is necessary to store a pH electrode in a solution in order to keep the glass membrane of the pH electrode hydrated and the junction clear. Ideally a storage solution should be used; never store an electrode in distilled or deionized water. This storage solution is specifically formulated to minimize microbial growth and to ensure an accurate and quick reading. In the case of cleaning your pH electrode in cleaning solution, or if the electrode has dried out, we recommend soaking the electrode in the storage solution for at least one hour before taking measurements or calibrating. This solution has been prepared in an industry leading laboratory A few drops in the protective cap of the meter is all that is required.
