It is negatively charged to attract positively charged proteins, leading to enhanced wort clarity, improved beer filtration, enhanced post filter beer clarity & enhanced colloidal stability.Whirlfloc G doesn’t need to be hydrated prior to adding to the kettle. Typically Polyclar Brewbrite PVPP (an alternative wortclarifier) needs to be hydrated prior to adding.Directions: Add 0.75g per 21-25L Batch in the last 10 to 20 minutes of the boil.1.5g of Whirlfloc G is the equivalent to 1 tablet (2.5g) of Whirlfloc T.
