Description Limited Release We’re stealing a colorway from our Everyday Karas brand, and bringing the Commando Cerakote over to the Modal. This was an experiment conducted by Aaron and his team over at Area 15 with a few leftover pens we sent to him. The results were amazing, and we knew they’d look great on the Dragonskin profile. The Commando Dragonskin Modal Limited Release features the dragonskin grip on our newest retractable rollerball pen, the Modal. Utilizing a base coat of partially cured Ruby Red (H-306) over which they apply Armor Black (H-190), then the paint is semi-cured before Aaron uses acetone and Scotch Brite to manually remove the black giving that amazing distressed finish. This reveals the red undercoat in varying degrees on each pen. Some have more red with the black being mostly stripped away, while other pens retain more black and just hints of red show through. We’ve elected to use matte black hardware and the black Delrin slider. Ships with a Pilot G2 refill with black ink. Limited Availability, No Exclusions
