Description The C L Wynn V520 Violin is constructed using highly flamed maple and the finest quality spruce. The wood is naturally air dried for a minimum of 5-6 years. The Red/Brown varnish is artistically shaded in the antique Brescian style and carefully polished to bring out the beauty of the wood and workmanship. The plates are carefully tuned to produce a mature, rich warm tone. Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. At Caswells we operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument, regardless of level, to exact standards and specifications. This includes cutting the bridge and top nut, setting the soundpost, and lubricating the pegs. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
