The Primavera 100 Viola outfit is an exceptional instrument for the beginner viola player and the education market. It comes with ebony fittings as standard including quality, ebony pegs which are longer lasting, easier to tune & keep their shape longer. The Primavera 100 viola outfit comes complete with a shaped case and a hardwood bow. The instrument is correctly set-up in our workshop with the standard factory strings. We offer here a number of string upgrade options to further enhance the sound and playing experience. Of course, you can have any strings of your choice fitted – if they’re not listed please add a set to your cart and leave a note on the order asking us to fit them. Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. At Caswells we operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument, regardless of level, to exact standards and specifications. This includes cutting the bridge and top nut, setting the soundpost, and lubricating the pegs. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
