The Primavera 90 Cello is an entry level student outfit, designed as a practical package for new students offering a usable level of quality at a sensible price. Made for education as a purpose designed instrument backed by the reputation of a successful brand. This instrument is correctly set-up in our workshop with the factory fitted strings. We offer an option of upgrading the strings to D’Addario Prelude or Larsen Aurora, which will further enhance the sound of this instrument. We can of course fit any strings you require, just ask. The next level up is the Primavera 100 with ebony fittings. Instruments not properly set up can have a detrimental effect on the players progress, even leading to the player being put off for life. At Caswells we operate a strict policy of setting up every instrument, regardless of level, to exact standards and specifications. This includes cutting the bridge and top nut, setting the soundpost, and lubricating the pegs. Instruments are shipped with the bridges up.
