For placing an order, you first have to select the available options (size, background, text color, layout, etc), while the texts will be entered during checkout as follows: when proceeding to checkout you will have the chance to ADD A NOTE TO THE ORDER, please write there (as a note) the texts to laser cut in the patch. This custom patch provides you with a MAIN TEXT (the longest one), and 2 (two) SECONDARY TEXTS which are shorter. The MAIN TEXT will be centered and placed on the top or bottom depending on the layout chosen. The two SECONDARY TEXTS will be placed next to the flag, either to the left or to the right depending on the layout. When writing the texts to read, please first provide the MAIN TEXT (TEXT 1). A recommended way of specifying the texts is writing them as follows: “HAMILTON”, “B POS”, “NKDA” The max length of the texts are as follows: SIZES 2″x3″ , 2″x3.5″ , 2.1″x4″ Text 1 : max 10 characters, including spaces, punctuation signs, etc. Text 2 : max 6 characters, including spaces, punctuation signs, etc. Text 3 : max 6 characters, including spaces, punctuation signs, etc. SIZE 3″x5″ Text 1 (Main Text): max 12 characters, including spaces, punctuation signs, etc. Text 2 : max 6 characters, including spaces, punctuation signs, etc. Text 3 : max 6 characters, including spaces, punctuation signs, etc. SIZE 3″x6″ Text 1 (Main Text): max 16 characters, including spaces, punctuation signs, etc. Text 2 : max 8 characters, including spaces, punctuation signs, etc. Text 3 : max 8 characters, including spaces, punctuation signs, etc. We’ll write the text using Bold and Uppercase letters, no other options are allowed. To check which kind of letters we use, just take a look at our patches in the store where you will see many examples. The texts will be written EXACTLY as you wrote in the note, including spaces, punctuation signs etc, so please be very careful when writing them. Any lowercase letters in your note will be converted to uppercase without notice. You have the option to select the reflectivity of the flag, which may be different from the reflectivity of the texts you have selected in the “Background Color/Camo” combo box. This means that, for example, you could get a patch with IR letters combined with a SOLAS grade reflective flag using a 3M SOLAS honeycomb tape (like the “BLUE RIDGE” patch in the picture). The options offered for the flag reflectivity are the following: SOLAS grade Reflectivity: underneath the flag we place a 3M SOLAS honeycomb tape which provides the highest reflectivity. Standard Reflectivity: we place a white reflective tape with medium-high reflectivity, a good choice to be seen in the dark when hit by flashlights or headlights. No Reflectivity: we place a non-reflective white tape in case you don’t need (or don’t want) reflectivity at all. Please note that when using reflective flags in real scenarios in the dark and hit by direct visible light, the high intensity of the reflection may make it difficult to distinguish the flag.
